Summary/Abstract: St. Basil the Great was marked by its middle position, avoiding extreme positions and reductionist. He exceeds attitude of Christian authors who polarized in a categorical manner the relationship between Christianity and secular culture, opposing them outright. At the same time, St. Basil's no formula does not attempt to accommodate or justification of Revelation by teaching exclusively human.
