Summary/Abstract: The text analyses options for using case study in teaching in management and organization science, as well as reflects upon the method’s current applications. Some features of case study are presented to illustrate the fact that it is a particularly useful method both for presenting theories and discussing practical examples using scientific models. Moreover, the text discusses the conditions of using cases effectively as well as most common mistakes and problems encountered by management teachers practicing case study method.
