Summary/Abstract: The meaning of comunication refers to a great personality and a great saint of the Church of the first centuries of christianity, St. Niceta of Remesiana, contemporary of St. Basil the Great. The author makes a brief presentation of the life and work of St. Nicetas, highlighting in his principal work: „De psalmodiae bono”, an important part of singing in the first centuries of christianity – „singing together”.
