ASPIRATIONS OF HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT SPECIALIZATION MSC GRADUATES AT WARSAW MANAGEMENT ACADEMY

Summary/Abstract: Article presents motives for studying specialty "Human Resource Management" at Warsaw Management Academy by employees working in different companies. We compared the knowledge and skills acquired during studies with the required knowledge and skills needed in the present work place. Educational aspirations of graduates develop career aspirations through the use of knowledge acquired at Academy and at the same time applyed it professional practice. Career aspirations are driven to feel the need for further professional development. Article presents also the changes in the career preferrence. Carrer advancement from the position of a specialist, through the manager, to the business owner, as a derivative of their knowledge and their positions, both during the study and after graduation.
