Chosen structural conditions of localization decisions concerning small and midium enterprises

Summary/Abstract: This paper identifies and examines chosen structural conditions of economic entities’ localization decisions especially considering small and midium enterprises. An analysis regards conditions connected with an impact of both state and territorial self governments agencies on firms localization decisions. The qualitative survey covered an analysis and an assessment of the contents placed on Internet web-sides of the institutions acting in every regions. The survey shows that both the incubators (of entrepreneurship and technological ones), parks (technological, research, industrial, investment), Special Economic Zones as well as clusters are the key elements of institutional structure influencing the localization decisions of entrepreneurs. Taking into account the fact that the creation and absorption of innovations constitute the basic condition for enterprises to function and be competitive on the global market, both the state and territorial self-governments units activity should aim at stimulating pro-innovational activities of small and midium enterprises.
