Summary/Abstract: In the article the authors analyse the primary and secondary market price of 1 m2 of flats in selected Polish cities. The analysis covers the offered and transaction prices as well. The survey was conducted on a quarterly basis in the span of 2007–2012. For their analysis the authors have chosen large Polish cities with well established real estate markets, such as Warsaw, Krakow, Łódź, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Poznań and Szczecin. The price changes are presented in the context of a housing situation in those cities. The data come from the Local Data Bank of the Central Statistical Office (GUS) and from the Polish National Bank (Narodowy Bank Polski).
