Summary/Abstract: In the article I focus on the problems discussed in environmental ethics, yet in the context of environmental management. I briefly outline both anthropocentric and non-anthropocentric conceptions, however emphasizing the latter. According to me, environmental ethics should become a theoretical base for managers working in the field of environmental protection since it really could improve their effectiveness.
