Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the importance of scientific communication in establishing cooperation with companies and presents gender as a significant factor in the communication. There are constructed two logistic regression models (separately for each gender) based on data from a nationwide survey. The results indicate the way of sharing the research findings and the basic characteristics of scientists that increase chances of women and men to collaborate with companies.
