Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is the determined the level of knowledge, perceptions and to identify the sources of information of the University students on Turkish World. The universe of the study is university students. The study was carried out in the fall semester of the academic year 2011-2012. The data was collected survey methods. The data obtained from the survey application package SPSS 17 programme, after created the tables and evaluated and interpreted the tables. According to the findings, the university students' perceptions and the level of knowledge of the Turkish World is level of adequate. It is seen that the students has been learned information from press and visual media and learning of school. In addition, the students perception the people of the Turkish World as the conservative, religious, fatalistic, helpful and friendly, but overall, joyless and intolerant.
