Summary/Abstract: This article intends to be a short, but comprehensive introduction in the domain of the offences committed by issuing of cheques, containing the description of the practical aspects and the explanation of the legal aspects necessary in order to make a correct legal qualification of the facts and to establish the existence or non-existence of the constituents of the offences stipulated in art. 244 of the Penal Code or art. 84 of Law no. 59/1934.
