Summary/Abstract: The pension system reformed in 1999 did not work properly, and pension funds were criticized mostly because of their poor performance. Therefore in 2011 and 2013 Polish government introduced essential changes also in the list of financial instruments, which can be used by pension funds for investments. The aim of the paper is analysis of the pension funds performance in years 2000-2013 using well-known measures of risk and investment efficiency together with methods of linear ordering.
