Summary/Abstract: The main focus of the article lies in describing the class position of an individual from the Polish middle class, his biographical path, and tensions connected with his actual place in social structure. Background of the analysis is rooted in Fritz Schütze’s methodology of autobiographical narrative interview. One of the main goals is to show the advantages of using biographical methodology in analyzing class structure.
