Summary/Abstract: The article will outline the application of multi-criteria analysis by the use of which the economic potential of Podkarpackie Province will be examined. From numerous factors influencing the development and maintenance of economic potential, 5 features were distinguished. It was done with the aid of selection in the use of AHP method. On the basis of distinguished features the examination was made by the use of zero unitarization method as well as Czekanowski’s method. The examination showed that the choice of method for multi-criteria analysis has little effect on grouping of particular communes in Podkarpackie Province.
