Summary/Abstract: Law on Survey and Cadastre in Republic Srpska introduces a new system of recording of the rights on real estate in Republic Srpska. The new law with its regulations unifies the recording on real estate and the rights on it in one register of real estates in the jurisdiction of administrative authorities. It changes the former system of separated registers: Real Estate Cadastre Registry, which is in the jurisdiction of administrative authorities and Land Registry, which is in the jurisdiction of the court. The author provides a legislative presentation of the first reforms of the rights on the real estate in Republic Srpska. A brief critical review on the Law on Cadastre in Republic Srpska, which was abolished, and some contentious provisions were analyzed too. New solutions of the Law on Survey and Cadastre of Republic Srpska and some provisions of the law, that might cause problems because of implementation of this law, were also analyzed.
