Summary/Abstract: Even though objective and subjective factors influenced state of archival material of legal provenance, and lack of proper care during its managing and protection, positive fact is that there was no destruction of archival material in larger scale and it is protected in archives of courts in relatively good condition, preserved from additional damage during critical times, wars, juidiciary reforms, transitional changes and other circumstances. By moving archival material older then 30 years from courts to the Archive of Tuzla Canton agelong issue of material not being transferred could finally be solved. It is important that this material will be available to experts and broader scientific public, and it will be protected from eventual further devastation and degradation that could happen because of inadequate, bad conditions in which its being kept in courts, as well as inadequate care and lack of devotion from responsible personel.
