Summary/Abstract: Based on reconstruction G. Frege’s project for foundation of axiomatic method and his treatment of the role of definitions in justification of axiomatic system, in the article I discuss the role of definitions in Euclid's axiomatic in their function of elucidations, in Fregan terms.
