Planets and Planetary Systems in the Old Bulgarian Literature

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the question of planets and planetary systems in some Old Slavonic monuments of the 10th and 11th centuries. The men of letters of the Golden Age of the Old Bulgarian literature knew three planetary systems: Ptolemaic, harmonic and mediatory. Information of the three has reached us through Old Bulgarian translations of St. John of Damascus.
