Summary/Abstract: The article viewed scientific theoretical and applied aspects of ethnocultural and ethnoreligious genesis of the formation of the ethnic community of the Bulgarians Muslims in Bulgaria. The article analyzed the terms „ethnicity” and „ethnic stereotypes”. Representative of the basic ethnic stereotypes of Bulgarians Muslims. Clarified are the main criteria for their ethnic identification. Identified the main priorities for counteracting attempts denationalization of Bulgarians Muslims and create so-called „Pomak republic”.
