National innovation system of the republic of Moldova: characteristics and development trends

Summary/Abstract: This article reflects an analysis of existing national innovation system of the Republic of Moldova, the main subjects of innovationenvironment. Disadvantages identified by the author defines the circle of tasks that is necessary to solve in order to coordinate,promote and implement the mechanisms of activities in the field of innovation and technology transfer.The limited of resources for the implementation of innovation development activities in the RM is necessary to concentrateresources on fact involving "self-development mechanism" - above all - the formation of the regional innovation infrastructure with theinvolvement of private sector resources, maintaining a balance the balance of interests - public and private. Technology policy shouldbe directed at overcoming the resource limitations of the regions.
