Summary/Abstract: There is a significant and growing demand for Computer Information Systems specialists across the computer and information technology sector. The core courses in the undergraduate certificate in CIS are designed to provide basic knowledge of information systems principles, information systems analysis, program design and implementation. Students take clusters of additional courses to obtain specialized knowledge and skills relevant to various computer and information technology occupations.
