Modeling Project Risk Management In University Research: A Practical Approach

Summary/Abstract: This paper outlines some key aspects of managing project risk, introduces a practical process for structuring the risk management, and describes how this process can be used implement a prospective R and D project successfully. In this paper we show that our risk management roadmap can lead to sound decisions and successfully reduce risk. Furthermore, we believe that this approach can be applied to an arbitrary research and development project, especially in universities, where the possibilities for investment are limited.
