Summary/Abstract: In the year 2006, the European Court on Human Rights gave 71 decisions in causes where Romania had the quality of defendant. To an overwhelming extend, those brought into discussion the violation of the provisions of article 6 – 1 from the European Convention and the violations of the provisions of no. 1 Protocol.
