The immunity for the President of Romania

Summary/Abstract: The immunity is a privilege given by the law to the members of the parliament and to the chief of the state in order to protect them, during the mandate, of pressures, abuses and barratry processes. The immunity contains two notions: the irresponsibility that protects in relation with the opinions, the votes or the decisions taken in the exertion of the function and the inviolability which consecrates the right not to be investigated for deeds, other than the ones committed in the exertion of the mandate or in a direct connection with its exertion.
