Summary/Abstract: The archive of the Moldavian Metropolitan Church was transferred in Poland in1686 after the military campaign of the Polish King Jan III Sobiecki. Many Romanianhistorians searched for this archive, but they did not obtained any result. TheZolkiewensis index, published at the end of 19th century, contains the inventory of theMetropolitan archive. The author of the article discovered the first original from thisarchive during a research study in Poland, Warsaw, at Archiwum Glowne AktDawnych. The document was transferred there together with other documents from theRadziwill archive from today territory of Belarus.
