Summary/Abstract: To speak green is to think about the environment. However, we should also employ appropriate words from other fields of research such as biology, physics, technical sciences, and understand the words coined or adapted for a specific field. We have chosen the teaching method employed in French for Specific Purposes by Danièle Paris and Bruno Foltète-Paris, environnement.com as outlined by CLE International in 2011 for students to learn the vocabulary of sustainable development and build on their reading skills via 5 chapters: 1. The Water; 2. The Air; 3. The Soils; 4. Health and Environment; 5. Biodiversity and sustainable development. Thus, they will be able to analyse other texts on the topic, as well
