Summary/Abstract: The Islamic banking was created and implemented in 1963 in an Egyptian village, Meit Ghamr in the form of a modest agricultural savings, even though the idea goes back to the 1940s. In broad terms, the Islamic banking is based on two principles: the prohibition of interest and social responsibility of the investment. We want to present the specific vocabulary compared to usual vocabulary in banking relations and also Koranic foundations which can not always be adapted to the Western world.
