Summary/Abstract: In this article, we envisage the side of the translator in the case of Romanian poet B. Fundoianu, specifically the years 1912 and 1914. In addition, we propose a critical reading of the first strophe of the poem ‘Don Juan in hell’ of Baudelaire, in Romanian translation by Fundoianu.
