Summary/Abstract: The study aim to explain two greek terms, wich are fundamental in understanding how the double and the double bind are defined in the grrek archetypal thinking. Kolossos is a thanatical double, a form in wich the dead is always present in the social structure of a polis, being associated with psyhe and eidolon. Antimimon is a double bind, the vicious side of the soul. Colossos and antimimon must be placed in a space between Now and Then, life and death, good and evil, in the structure of each individual personality.
