Summary/Abstract: Discrimination is a sociality. It is not easily found and is difficult to prove. The application of formal equality carries dangers. One is the production of differences. Interest means relevance, meaning and necessity of the law as a social regulator. It is also access to rights and limitation to rights. In this article several manifestations of interest with practical and theoretical significance in legal protection against discrimination will be discussed.
