Summary/Abstract: It is the second part of the article the first part of which was published in “Prace NaukoweAkademii im. Jana Długosza w Częstochowie. Filozofia”, vol. X. This section discusses and putsforward for critical evaluation the concept of film phenomenology contained in Allan Casebier’sbook entitled Film and Phenomenology. Casebier uses mainly two Husserl’s early fundamental works: the second volume of Logical Research and the first volume Ideas of Pure Phenomenology. He tries to use them as a source of ideas for his own findings concerning the structure of film experience. At the same time he takes an opportunity to make a lot of simplifications and thereforeviolates the integrity of Husserl’s doctrine, which was pointed out to him. At the end of the articlehe states that a possible phenomenological option in the future theory of film will have to be builtvirtually from scratch.
