THE EXPERIMENTAL LITERATURE OF NOII LITERARY GROUP

Summary/Abstract: This current paper aims at defining the literary concept experiment(alism) as it is understood under the conditions of the Romanian communist space with concern to the literary group ŖNoiiŗ. The experimental literature of ŖNoiiŗ group is very much connected with the idea of communism and sub-culture in what concerns the Romanian literature. It is very difficult to find a suitable and short description regarding the activity of this group, however the main term which classifies it would be that one of Ŗruptureŗ. It is not rupture of past and literary tradition, but a rupture of the contemporary way of understanding the literature. The most important fact about the members of this literary group is that they manage to establish their own system of rules in writing the experimental text. Although their novelty had a high level, they did not continue to write using the same rules after the end of the communist period. Their experiment was only a definite period in their work and not a continuous one.
