OLONETSKY DEPARTMENT OF THE IMPERIAL ORTHODOX PALESTINE SOCIETY IN THE RELIGIOUS LIFE OF OLONETS PROVINCE IN LATE XIX – EARLY XX CENTURIES

Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the issues of organization and activity of one of the diocesan departments of the Imperial Orthodox PalestineSociety in the late XIX – early XX centuries, namely, the role of Olonetsky Division of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Societyin the religious life of Olonets province. Some activities related to the religious enlightenment of the population and measures toincrease the tangible assets of the Society are analyzed in the article.
