CULTURAL STUDIES FORM THE PHILOSOPHER OF SCIENCE’S PERSPECTIVE A FEW HISTORICAL REMARKS ON ”THE MIDDLE WAY” IN SCIENTIFIC SEARCH OF THE FORMS OF STABILITY

Summary/Abstract: The main topic of the article is the pattern of thought called ”the middle way”, usedthroughout the history of research in problem transformation. ”The Middle Way” meanstransformation of a problem which has the structure of a dilemma (or a given solution,or its antithesis) into a trilemma with a third ”middle” possibility. It was used by Platoand Aristotle to determine scientific knowledge (episteme). It can also be referred tocultural studies.
