Summary/Abstract: In the article we havetried to present the process of education employees, who work in public administration and ,,professional"Archives in the Republic of Slovenia. With education as well as additional education raises the level of services in performing work, and that everything can be further upgraded. Employees in the archival profession must strive towards the goal, to interest archivist or archivists were more respected and appreciated. Users typically praise us as long as they need us to find them an information, documentation, which is usually related to material goods, and then they quickly forget. Not to mention the story and the situation where the archive worker is unable to give information, because there is simply no material. And thats when usually the story begins that archives are destroying materials, that they refuse to provide the information ... In short users can not or will not understand that the archive can store only the material which came in the archives.
