THREE DIMENSIONS OF THE AESTHETIC EXPERIENCE

Summary/Abstract: In the first part of this study I intend to show what aesthetic ŗcontemplationŗ means (associated with the notions of concentration and attention towards the aesthetic object), i.e. an act which paradoxically represents a fundamental characteristic of this kind of intuitive experience. The second part of the study aims to show the connection between the intensity of aesthetic experience and the liberty based on the aesthetic principle of democratization of taste.
