Summary/Abstract: Ion Heliade Rădulescu, one of the most remarkable personalities in the Romanian culture, was considered the creator of the modern grammar due to his involvement in the process of reinforcing the canons of the literary language. Moreover, all his linguistic contributions were related to his strong interest in developing the modern Romanian language.
