Summary/Abstract: The paper aims at presenting a historical overview of legislative changes in Poland and at analyzing possible amendments to the existing legislation on prostitution and auxiliary phenomena. The author discusses the examples of extreme legislative solutions in Germany and in Sweden, as well as the process of prostitution normalization or deviantization, giving rise to legislative changes. Moreover, she analyses the realization of goals as intended to be achieved following the introduction of regulatory measures. She discusses the possible use of German and Swedish experiences for the purpose of legislative changes in Poland. The analysis on the perspective regulation of prostitution has been performed based on the analytical model of John W. Kingdon.
