Summary/Abstract: Contemporary knowledge management and intellectual capital management has a strategic character, and directly influences the value created in enterprises, and their competitive advantage. Therefore, the key issue is a proper approach to research and the evaluation of enterprise’s intangible resources that to some extent evade the commonly applied quantitative approach. The methods predisposed to such research are qualitative methods, and in particular, anthropological methods. Since they treat organizational culture as a dynamic network of meanings, they allow for analyzing organizational knowledge with respect to the actual practices and relations, the participants of which are employees and stakeholders. This is why taking into account the phenomenological and constructivist paradigm of qualitative methods seems to be necessary for a comprehensive evaluation of cultural, social and individual interactions that constitute an important aspect of effective intellectual capital management.
