A General Ethnolinguistic Model of Tabooistic Names of Deities

Summary/Abstract: The paper proposes a criterion to be used to define the tabooistic names and designations of deities. The data which consists of mythological notions of various ethnoses and of denominations in various languages is taken into account. The conclusion it asserts that designations of deities are tabooistic.
