Corporate governance within the Czech legal system

Summary/Abstract: Throughout the modern history, corporations have become a world-wide phenomenon influencing economic, political and social relationships. With the massive development of these legal entities, theories and doctrines analyzing the processes taking place inside and outside the corporations have evolved. This article focuses on introducing the concept of corporate governance and analyzes the scope of applicability of this concept within the Czech legal system.
