Summary/Abstract: Who is Septimiu Bucur? His profile can be inferred from both its individual behavior and socio-cultural existential and the manuscripts litter feverishly in watershed moments of life. Septimiu Bucur is a name not listed to appear on the cover of a volume of essays and literary and philosophical studies in the 49 years he lived. It is very popular in intellectual circles for the depth of his thought and intellectual refinement. The voluminous writings of Septimiu Bucur sphere is represented by manuscripts wrote between the years 1945- 1963 totaling over 3000 pages dealing with various topics. As a literary critic, has highlighted showing attributes of objectivity, discernment, ethical and aesthetic mastery values, language pertinent. As an essayist, a philosophical level, reveals its confluence with existentialism, developing six studies of Blaga's philosophy. After 1955 continues to develop in-depth studies of some of the most important writers of Romanian literature, namely the classics, partially edited ȋn posthumous volume "Lucullus's Banquet" with a selection of pre-war literary chronicles.
