Summary/Abstract: In the Communist era the role of the Romanian teacher is one of paramount importance because it has the mission of forming/ “formatting” young spirits. Of the quality and quantity of knowledge that the teacher possesses and it is able to give to the next generations, of his professional instruction (but mainly of his ideological training), depend on the efficiency of education and especially the effectiveness of propaganda. Most Romanian teaching methodologies of language and literature published during the communist regime offer one chapter aimed at developing teacher’s training and to its role in teaching the subject. He is the one who controls and leads the process of training and education, he contributes to the overall goal (for over forty years) of the Romanian school i.e. the education of the younger generation in communist spirit.
