Summary/Abstract: The focus of this research is placed on two ancient cities in the Bregalnica region which still cannot be located with certainty. It is about the cities Astrajon and Joren. The Macedonian kingdom is known for its biggest expansion in the early ancient period when the largest cities were raised in the Bregalnica region. These cities were in the region of ancient Paeonia. Taking this fact in mind, we can say that these were paeonian cities that had a continuity of existence since the early ancient period until the late ancient or roman period. Regarding the previous archaeological research, which unfortunately included only field surveys and processing narrative sources, the archaeologists are locating the city of Astrajon somewhere between the cities Shtip and Radovish, and the city of Joren in the area of the villages Sofilari and Dragoevo.
