Summary/Abstract: The article presents problems related to repression performed by the communistic authority towards Catholic Church in Rzeszow region (1944-1968). The author stresses repressive policy towards sacral architecture. She discusses, on the concrete cases, administrative and political barriers referring to the lack of planning permission for new churches and permission for operation of the already existing churches.
