The Church in Post-Modern Society. Mission and Orthodox Testimony in the Romanian Diaspora

Summary/Abstract: In the present document I have tried to outline the picture of the mission of our Church in western Europe starting from the two main coordinates: the time and the place we are living. The Churchis asked to find solutions to the challenges of the present world. It isconfronted with a multi religious reality, multi confessional, where the sects, in the context of the secularization introduce themselves as a valid religious alternative. Dealing with the orthodox parish orthodox life andthe orthodox cult in the diaspora has as its main goal the seeding and the maintenance of the orthodox conscience through the pastoral care of the Church for its children and the activation of the communion of the Church.
