More About the Reading of the Inscription in the Church at Ravna

Summary/Abstract: There are different interpretations of the inscription in the church at the village of Ravna. In the present article is proposed a Byzantine system containing a 19-year cycle (of Meton) - a system that was quaite unknown in Bulgaria during the 9th–10th с. In conclusion the inscription of Ravna proves that in this inscription the year 6097 and the indiction 17 are correctly written and that the foundation and the consecration of the church at Ravna must have been accomplished in the year 689 A.D. and reconstructed during the First Bulgarian State.
