Summary/Abstract: This article decribes the life quality issue in reginal level in the cities. This is the main aim of this work. The particular parts of this article were subordinate to the aim of this work. In this article the meaning of life quality in realisation the conception of sustainable developmnet was shown. This article decribes also the monitoring of life quality in Polish cities with appriorate indicators. In this article was used the subject literature, state documents, raports and the staistics
