Summary/Abstract: In article the author addresses to the analysis of a cultural universal "way" and its representations in the Russian culture in concepts "way" and "road". Attempt to show that it validly the universal of culture having key value for a survival of the person as beings cultural, moral and spiritual becomes. The extensive material of art texts of G. D. Grebenshchikov, the Siberian writer, the world renowned cultural figure of a change of the XIX–XX centuries, allows the author to draw the theoretical conclusions useful both to the theory of culture, and for a language researches. The cultural universal "way" is presented in the Siberian text as two vectors. The horizontal vector embodies historical ways of the Russian people to the east and the West on development of natural and cultural spaces. The vertical vector designates ways of human spirit, its self-improvement.
