Summary/Abstract: This article provides information about translations of works by Bohumil Hrabal (1914–1997) published in Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. The greater part of the article, however, is devoted to the reception of Hrabal’s works in Sweden, where they enjoy the most interest. The article is based on reviews and other relevant articles published in the Swedish press. It also considers the works of Scandinavian scholars of Czech literature, translators, and publishers.
