Summary/Abstract: For the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes Education in Bijeljina encountered many problems: lack of professional teachers, school buildings, teaching aids, children’s absence from school, attempted unification of curricula, textbooks, nationalist activities in schools, etc. In this period worked in primary and secondary schools that were in the same position as other schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Bijeljina were five high schools: High school, comprehensive school, women’s vocational schools, apprentice schools and madrassas.
